David Speakman August 2008 Supplying Hospital

The last batch of modules that I bought, were used to make lamps and torches of which 13 were given as gifts to my in-laws when I visited Uganda in May.

I sold another eight to a charity that is using them in a hospital. Unfortunately, my return to Kampala was brought forward unexpectedly, which meant that I did not get the time to teach anyone how to assemble the lamps / torches, so as to set up a small enterprise in the town.

All of the components have been left with Flavia's mother to look after until I can get back to Uganda.
